Maine
Sue, Peoria,IL
“Our trip to Maine was exceptional. From the quaint New England cities, impressive hotel accommodations, feasting at first-rate restaurants and tours including lighthouses and botanical gardens, our trip was planned to perfection. Acadia National Park is beautiful! The highlight of the trip was our four days on the Schooner Ladona. It was both exhilarating and serene, the crew were top notch and the food was superb. Of course, we had the best island lobster bake ever! Thanks, Patty for your hard work and expertise.”

“You cannot go to Maine without going on the Schooner Stephen Taber – gourmet food, great sights and a beach lobster bake that cannot be believed. Thanks, Pack A Fork, for the introduction to a memorable experience.”

The Pack a Fork Maine trip was a first-class adventure. Sailing on the 150-year-old Stephen Tabor Schooner is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is not to be missed. The camaraderie of Patty’s small tours added to the experience of food, culture and sites in beautiful Portland, Rockland and Rockport, Maine.”

The Basque Country, The Pyrenees & A Rioja Wine Tour: A Cultural & Culinary Adventure
Went on a great trip to the Basque area of Spain. Patty planned a fun and informative trip. Hope to go on another adventure with Pack a Fork.
J.S, Littleton, CO
I traveled with Patty in June 2018 for a wonderful tour of the Basque area of Spain. The trip was well planned and executed. We ate at wonderful restaurants and the cooking school night was over the top with great food and wonderful chef teachers. Another thing that made the trip special was the wonderful tour guides – Claude and Cristina – they are really fantastic. With Claude’s knowledge of food and wine and Cristina’s art, history and local knowledge, the trip was very interesting and fun. Patty puts on a great trip – I would be going to Greece with her if I didn’t have family obligations to tend to. I hope to do another trip next year. ~J.S., Littleton, CO
Culinary Peru & Machu Picchu Adventure
We felt completely taken care of. The guides were just amazing and the touring was a perfectly balanced mix.
We loved the authenticity of experiencing the culture. Much of it in the highlands is relatively untouched for really feeling the lifestyle. The landscape is mind-boggling. The ruins leave you speechless.
We just loved our food experiences.! We had an absolute blast with Pio at El Huacatay and learned a lot at the market with him. Loved trying new things. The food was spectacular!
Machu Picchu: Absolutely breathtaking!
— H.S.W, Niwot, CO
Our guides were helpful and knowledgeable regarding the culture and history of Peru. The high point of the trip was, of course, Machu Picchu but I was impressed with every other excursion.
The hotels were wonderful! They were friendly, knowledgeable, patient and above all…helpful.

I was very fortunate to be a part of Patty’s Spain Tour starting in Barcelona and ending in Madrid, which offered some very unique experiences. It was, without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable, eventful and well organized trips that I have experienced. Patty pays attention to detail in every area. Our guides were the BEST! The selection of events, museums, interesting places and restaurants was exceptional! Each hotel was very relaxing, comfortable and added to the overall wonderful experience. I totally enjoyed my trip with Pack-a-Fork and will look forward to being a part of another tour in the future. — R.S., Niwot, CO
I was fortunate to join Patty’s trip to northern Spain in June 2016. It was a fantastic trip, and I would highly recommend her upcoming Spain trip this fall. Our trip was advertised as a cultural and culinary adventure, and it was every bit of that and more! There were many, many lovely highlights, but for me it was the delightful picnics (one in the Pyrenees), the Dali Museum and the San Sebastián cooking school. Actually San Sebastián was one of our favorite places on the trip … a gorgeous city.
The hotels were all 4 and 5 star, and were fabulous. A favorite spot was at our hotel in Espot which was on a beautiful river where we had our afternoon G&Ts. Fond memories!!
Finally, let me address our wonderful “attention-to-details” host, Patty, and our guides, Cristina and Claude, both with extensive knowledge of Spain. I cannot say enough about how well-organized and perfectly orchestrated this trip was! Do yourself a favor and sign up … you’ll love it!
