Join ‘Pack a Fork!’ on this one-of-a-kind adventure through Peru. We will take in Peru’s rich culture and its fusion culinary scene as we travel from Lima to the Sacred Valley, to Machu Picchu ending in Cusco and surrounding areas. This will be an immersive experience designed to satisfy the bucket list!

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Visit to Larco Museum detailing the history of Andean civilizations
  • Gastronomic tour of four of Lima’s best restaurants; experience Peru’s fusion culinary scene
  • Learn to make Peru’s national drink – the Pisco Sour
  • Walking tour of the Bohemian Barranco District of Lima
  • Sacred Valley’s Chinchero marketplace
  • Peruvian weaving demonstration
  • Hands-on Andean cooking class in the Sacred Valley
  • Visits to Moray Agricultural Terraces and the Maras Inca Salt Pans in the Sacred Valley
  • Guided visit to Machu Picchu; another 1/2 day to hike on your own
  • Ollantaytambo Inca Ruins
  • Pachamanca (traditional Peruvian meal cooked in a stone pit) on Lake Puiray; option for kayaking and paddleboarding on the lake
  • Free time in Cusco to walk, shop, eat and experience the city
  • Gourmet meals at select Peruvian restaurants/cafes
  • Built-in free time during the tour to relax or explore on your own
