The next part of the tour is in the Faroe Islands, a place of untouched wilderness, breathtaking scenery and a sense of remoteness you cannot imagine. Travel to Copenhagen. Upon arrival, transfer to your centrally located hotel. Take the afternoon to relax or explore the city on your own. In the evening, join the group for the Welcome Dinner at one of Copenhagen’s distinct restaurants. Enjoy a menu based on New Nordic Cuisine.

THUR, July 31: Copenhagen Bike/Rickshaw City Tour, Free Afternoon, Evening Canal Cruise
Start the day in the most Copenhagen way..by bike or rickshaw. Meet the 'bicycle chef’ who has upgraded his cargo bike to a fully functioning kitchen. Explore the northern part of the city as you are served a 5-course gourmet meal from his bike! Learn about the city, its history and special sites. In the evening, enjoy an extraordinary canal cruise on a small boat that is dubbed ‘social sailing'. Everyone gets involved and interacts as the captain shows you his favorite gems in the Copenhagen Harbor.

FRI, Aug 1: Christiansborg Palace, Copenhagen Botanical Gardens, Dinner at Michelin Restaurant
Home to one of the oldest monarchies in the world with a culture dating back to the Viking Age, history is everywhere in Copenhagen. Cobblestone streets, palaces and royal life abound - now set against the beautiful backdrop of modern life. Start the day at Christiansborg Palace and experience 800 years of royal history. Once home to the kings and queens, it now houses the Danish Parliament, the Supreme Court and the Ministry of State. Walk through the guilded rooms, decorated salons and the Royal Reception area where foreign ambassadors are received. Take in the Great Hall, an imposing room that displays the Queen’s magnificent tapestries. Afterward, stroll the grounds of Copenhagen’s Botanical Gardens. The grounds offer a beautiful oasis, peace and an immersion into nature in the heart of Copenhagen. This evening, dinner will be at a select Michelin-star restaurant.

The journey takes you through the scenic canals of the Christianshavn with its rich history and colorful houses. It is one of Copenhagen’s most picturesque neighborhoods and home to some of the city’s best restaurants. In the evening, enjoy Tivoli Gardens lit up at night making it a magical experience. Tivoli Gardens was founded in 1843 and is a national treasure. There is something for everyone from the scenery to the exotic architecture, historic buildings, lush gardens, musical events and thrilling rides. At night, thousands of colored lights create a fairytale atmosphere. It is a must-see in Copenhagen.

Tonight, enjoy dinner at a select Torshavn restaurant featuring Faroese cuisine.

MON, Aug 4: Vagar Island: Lake Leitisvatn Hike, Bosdalafossur Waterfall, Lunch, Bøur, Gasadalur, Mulafossur Waterfall, Drangarnir Sea Stacks Boat Tour, Free Evening
Begin the day on beautiful Vagar Island with a hike along Lake Leitisvatn called ‘the lake above the ocean’. The view from a particular angle is an optical illusion making the lake appear as if it is hovering above the ocean. Take the trail that leads to the Traelanipa/Slave Cliff Vantage Point to see the stunning Bosdalafossur Waterfall. Then, enjoy lunch in a cafe that was once an old house. When you step inside, you’ll likely hear the floorboards creak - an echo from the past of activities that once were. Afterward, head to the charming villages of Gásadalur and Bøur, home to the picturesque Mulafossur Waterfall. Watch it cascade effortlessly into the North Atlantic Ocean. The day will end with a boat tour of the Drangarnir Sea Stacks. Learn how they were formed and take in these impressive natural wonders. Once back in Torshavn, the evening will be at leisure.

This morning, you'll head north to Klaksvik passing the world's first subsea roundabout. In Klaksvik, take a short ride to Klakkur Vantage Point offering a beautiful view over the fjords and neighboring islands. Then head to Vioareioi, the northernmost village lying between two pyramid-like mountains. In the afternoon, experience an iconic Faroese wooden schooner and take in the Faroe Islands from the sea. Enjoy the spacious deck, modern comforts, stunning views, seabirds and the occasional seal. You can even participate in the sailing. The captain and staff will give you a wonderful experience based on the weather conditions of the day. Sailing, the sea air and serenity are what it’s all about!

Today, head north to experience some of the Faroe Islands’ most breathtaking scenery on north Streymoy Island. You’ll experience the charm of traditional Faroese island life and the natural wonders of this island such as Saksun’s secluded beauty, the majestic Fossa Waterfall and and charming village of Tjornuvik. It has stunning views and a deep-rooted Viking history. Visit the old Duvugaroar farmhouse and the local church. Enjoy the later afternoon at leisure. Tonight, experience the tradition of heimablídni or Faroese hospitality. You will be warmly welcomed and treated to dinner in a Faroese home.

THURS, Aug 7: Fly from Faroe Islands to Reykjavik, Free Time, Sky Lagoon Geothermal Pool
Enjoy breakfast this morning before you check out of the hotel. You will be transferred to Vagar Airport in the Faroe Islands for a short flight to Iceland. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel centrally located in Reykjavik. Take a break. In the evening, enjoy Sky Lagoon Geothermal Pool to experience the Icelandic bathing culture and tradition. The powers of the geothermal seawater create a transformational spa journey while enjoying the spectacular views of the North Atlantic Ocean from the pools.

FRI, Aug 8: Iceland’s Golden Circle Tour
Today, explore the iconic Golden Circle. This is Iceland’s most scenic route that combines stunning geological landmarks and historically significant sites. Visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that celebrates the unique landscape of Iceland and its history as a nation. It is the only place in the world where you can stand between two tectonic plates. Take in Gullfoss Waterfall, called the ‘Golden Falls’; it is one of Europe’s most powerful waterfalls and truly a site to be seen in one’s lifetime. Visit a spouting geyser at at Geysir Geothermal area. Enjoy a visit to the Frioheimar family tomato farm to learn how they grow vegetables year-round using geothermal heat. Lunch can be enjoyed in their greenhouse - try their famous tomato soup, homemade bread and a Bloody Mary! Visit the volcanic crater Kerid with its deep caldera, a pure blue pond at the bottom and the contrasting bright red colors of the surrounding rocks. Return to Reykjavik at the end of the day. The evening will be at leisure.

SAT, Aug 9: Iceland’s South Coast Premium Tour
Skógafoss & Seljalandsfoos Waterfalls, the black sand beach and rock formations of Reynisfjara and the view toward Sólheimajökull Glacier are among the highlights but the day is full of endless natural wonders. Today is about driving, walking and exploring. Visit the village of Vík which is considered one of Iceland’s most picturesque. This will be a genuine relaxed sightseeing day spent basking in Iceland’s otherworldly nature. The day provides endless photo opportunities including the black sand beaches, terrific cliffs, glaciers, waterfalls, small fishing villages and farms. Return to Reykjavik at the end of the day. The evening will be at leisure.

You can register on the website via the registration page for Copenhagen & Faroe Islands with the Iceland Extension. Go to the Home Page and click on the tour. You'll see the red Register Now tab on this page.
TOUR DEPOSIT:
You will be asked for a deposit of $2500 as part of the registration process. The balance is due 90 days out from departure or April 28, 2025. You will be sent an invoice for the balance which can be paid online.
TOUR PAYMENT:
Tour payment can be made by eCheck, credit card or bank transfer. Before April 28, 2025, a deposit will hold your spot. After April 28, full payment is required at registration.
PROMOTIONS/DISCOUNTS:
If you register with a promotion, the discount will be taken off the final invoice.
TOUR RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION:
If you cancel the tour before the final payment, you will receive a refund less a $500 service charge per person. If you cancel the tour after the final tour payment, the payment is non-refundable. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to offset tour cancellation costs.
If Pack A Fork cancels the tour, a full refund will be sent.
